Whoops, I’m late.
It’s the dumbest and laziest reason, too. I got everything set up in my spreadsheet, other than the balances of our various savings accounts, and then I got too lazy to finish inputting those numbers. And now it’s the 17th of the month. Oops!

Easy come, easy go on the car situation. The rest mostly followed the market, other than me diverting some of the last extra cash from my paychecks while I was still on payroll with my old company. We only owe ourselves $500 from the replacement of the hot water heater earlier this year, which is a nice position to be in. Next month, our cash is going to look ridiculous, as my severance will show up next week and receiving months of pay as a lump sum will temporarily inflate things.
