Sorry, folks, apparently the only food I took a picture of that was food I made myself was this particularly nicely-eared loaf of sourdough. So that’s what we get this month.

New Recipes

Cava honey harissa chicken – I’ve been making this recipe for a few months (probably, I’d have to look back at when I added it to our recipe list) but somehow it never made it onto this blog, which is a good thing because I did not make any other new recipes in February. I wouldn’t say this is an exact replica of the Cava honey harissa chicken, but it’s a great stand in since we don’t have Cava up in the Pacific Northwest, and I can roughly recreate the grains and greens bowl I always get there.

Revisited Recipes

Din Tai Fung fried rice – The shrimp fried rice at Din Tai Fung is my favorite shrimp fried rice, not only because it contains no soy but also because it’s my preferred style, but I can’t just go down to DTF every time I want fried rice, so this recipe is my go-to.

German potato salad – This is one that made it into our rotation last year. It’s a little labor intensive, but not difficult. Neither me nor my husband like mayonnaise-based potato salad, but the vinegar-based one here is a nice alternative.
