Well, it was nice having some triumphant months with lots of green, because this month (which I’ve been expecting for a while) finally came. It is always less exciting to pass over a milestone a second time, so at least only a few of the recent milestones have been undone.

Big drops in investments could not be offset by the increase in savings and the random jump our house took this month. We’re just about to sign over $15k of our savings for a new roof, so expect that to go down in the near future. Obviously, we’re now not only not over $900k in retirement, but we’re no longer anywhere near close to $1.4MM in invested assets, but we’ll keep doing what we’ve been doing and let things go as they will.
